Corpus Story

where it all began

CORPUS is the life’s work and was founded by Mr. Henri Remmers with one clear vision: to create an innovative, educational experience that brings the wonders of the human body to life. Those who are aware of this will treat it with greater care. Prevention is essential! To ensure the highest standards of scientific accuracy and educational value, Henri worked together with a Medical Advisor Board who are still involved today.

Since the opening in 2008 of our first location in Oegstgeest, The Netherlands, opened by Queen Beatrix, we’ve redefined how people understand and appreciate the complexity of human anatomy. Since then we have taken visitors on a journey of discovery through the wonder that connects us all: the human body. What began as a unique experience has grown into a globally recognized institution, inspiring visitors of all ages to explore and learn about their own bodies.
